PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how Leibodex collects, uses, discloses, and retains information relating to the Service. In ordinary browser stamping and verification flows, the file you select is processed locally in your browser to compute a SHA-256 hash and is not uploaded to Leibodex unless a feature clearly says otherwise. If you submit a hash, metadata, verification-related material, or similar information for public recording or display, that information may become public and may be copied, mirrored, cached, or retained by others.

Information Leibodex collects

Leibodex may collect information you choose to submit, such as hashes and metadata, as well as operational information such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested pages or endpoints, referrer data, error and diagnostic information, support communications, and account or API-key information if those features are offered.

What may become public

If you use features that publish or expose hashes, metadata, verification pages, exports, witness artifacts, gossip artifacts, or similar materials, those materials may become public and may be visible to other users, mirrors, indexers, or independent verifiers.

Files stay local in ordinary browser flows

In ordinary browser stamping and verification flows, the file you select is processed locally in your browser to compute a SHA-256 hash. Unless a page or feature clearly states otherwise, the file itself is not uploaded to Leibodex.

How Leibodex uses information

Leibodex uses information to operate the Service, maintain public records and verification materials, secure the Service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, communicate with users, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business and audit records.

Service providers

Leibodex may use service providers for hosting, content delivery, monitoring, email, payments, analytics, support, and security. These providers may process information on Leibodex’s behalf subject to appropriate contractual or operational controls.

Retention

Leibodex retains different categories of information for different periods depending on why the information was collected, operational need, security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and preservation of system integrity. Public ledger entries and published artifacts may be retained on an ongoing basis. Operational logs and account-related records may be retained as reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, compliance, and business records.

Deletion and public-mirroring limits

Leibodex can sometimes delete or redact account-related information, support records, or unpublished metadata. Leibodex may be unable to delete or fully recall material that has already been published, copied, mirrored, cached, exported, or independently retained by others. Because Leibodex is designed around public append-only records, some requests may be addressable only through delisting, redaction, access restriction, or stopping further distribution rather than complete erasure.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and Leibodex does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent. If Leibodex learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner that requires action under applicable law, Leibodex will take reasonable steps to delete it or otherwise comply with that law.

Security

Leibodex uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed for the Service and the information it holds. No method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure, and Leibodex cannot guarantee absolute security. Public artifacts are not confidential.

Legal disclosures

Leibodex may disclose information when it reasonably believes disclosure is necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government request; to protect the rights, safety, and security of Leibodex, its users, or others; to investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents; to enforce its Terms; or in connection with a merger, financing, asset sale, or similar transaction.
